Science leaders – Please encourage all ELEMENTARY EDUCATORS (teachers, principals, coaches, specialists, district admin, etc) to participate in the following survey by forwarding this email to your networks. We need data from all corners of our state to shape our Mi Sci PLN efforts for supporting elementary science. Thank you for your help.

Please help us understand what elementary science looks like in your school so we can do a better job supporting you and your students.

There’s a growing conversation across the nation about the importance of elementary science education. Science leaders across our great state of Michigan have created a survey to gather information about elementary science curricular resources, implementation, and professional learning.  Please spend 10 minutes or less completing the statewide survey linked here.   Then, share the survey link with your colleagues and friends in all the places….email, Twitter, Facebook groups, etc!  All voices matter and are important!

  • The survey is only for Michigan educators. 
  • The survey closes on Friday, December 3, 2021
  • You will be given the option at the end of the survey to enter your email address if you’d like a copy of the data.

The Purpose of the Survey

The purpose of this survey is to gather information about elementary science curricular resources being used by schools and districts in Michigan, implementation, and professional learning.  The data will be shared with all science leaders in Michigan to create a more supportive network for elementary science.
