MMSLN: 1 of 13 New Providers Added to Support School Systems in Curriculum Adoption and Implementation

MMSLN is a new partner featured in Rivet Education’s Professional Learning Partner Guide (PLPG). The PLPG provides educators with better access to information about professional learning providers and their services. Akin to EdReports’ reviews of high-quality instructional materials, the PLPG is a list of organizations that provide the best curriculum-aligned professional learning services in the country.

Research shows that when teachers have great materials and high-quality professional learning aligned to those materials, student achievement increases and classroom inequity is reduced. –Alexa Obregon, manager of the PLPG

The PLPG helps to ensure educators have the instructional materials and professional learning they deserve by:

  • growing the demand for high-quality professional learning in schools and districts, and
  • improving the overall quality of the professional learning marketplace by highlighting the best professional learning partners.

With this update, the PLPG added 13 new professional learning organizations (MMSLN is one of them), bringing the total number of providers featured in the guide to 29. Overall, the collective group provides professional learning services aligned to 70 percent of the curriculum rated “green” on EdReports across all 50 states.

The addition of Rivet’s Professional Learning Partner Guide to the curriculum marketplace means that education leaders now have important information about the quality of instructional materials and a list of organizations that can be considered to support their implementation. -Eric Hirsch, Executive Director of EdReports
